The former Tampa Bay Hotel serves as a symbol of UT and the city. This Victorian masterpiece was completed in 1891 by shipping mogul Henry B. Plant. Famous guests included Teddy Roosevelt & Babe Ruth.

Beautiful campus in walking proximity to both downtown and soho. Poor public transportation though, and spotty bike lanes.

UT students can purchase a 31-day unlimited ride pass for only $45 (normally $60). Pass must be purchased at UT.
