Many museums could learn from this one. Informative, engaging and beautifully laid out, this museum is a gem. The art gallery upstairs is the cherry on top.

Loved the Listening Room (cleared my migraine). The art gallery had great contemporary artwork from artistd who work in Alaska. Fantastic selection of Native crafts and jewelry in gift shop.

Not only a beautiful museum; the exhibit that incorporates real-time aurora and tectonic plate feedback was sooo cool.

This is one of the best natural science museums I've been to. All of the exhibits are very well done.

I just visited and all the films were included as a flat price. So have enough time to check out all the shorts and pieces.

Check out the giant woolly mammoth tusks, and don't miss the charmingly archaic northern lights exhibit in the back of the old section of the museum.
