No need to stay overnight here. Sleep outside, go for a big morning hike, and then come for brunch. Arrive starving so you can take full advantage of the spread (and get your money’s worth).
If you come for brunch and want to do the buffet, try to come around 10. At 10:30, they switch out some of the breakfast buffet items (waffles, bacon) and replace with lunch and dessert items.
The service and atmosphere is perfect, as always. New ownership means new kitchen staff, so dishes that require highly accurate timing suffer a bit. The prime rib is still good; salmon wonderful.
Loved dinner here - an oasis in the wilderness. The live music (piano) and attentive service was memorable. I had the quinoa which was great, as was the prime rib!
Vegetarians: For Sunday brunch you can also order off the a la carte menu. I recommend the 2 eggs which you can then ask for roasted vegetables with the eggs.
Hotel recommends you to make a reservation for breakfast even if you're staying there. There is a reservation counter just next to the hotel check in desk.
