ESPN: The Skyline Chili Dog is a must, but if you want to do WORK, there are funnel fries. That is, funnel cake in French fry form. Put one under your nose, & you’ll have a mustache akin to Mr. Redlegs.

ESPN: The Presidents Race takes place in the middle of the 4th & features Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln & Roosevelt. Don’t pledge your allegiance to Teddy. He hasn’t won since the race’s inception in ’06.
ESPN: There are two orange seats here. In right-center, the landing spot of Eddie Murray’s 500th home run. In left, the honorary mark of Cal Ripken Jr.’s 278th HR ball, the record breaker for shortstops.
ESPN: PNC has delicious grub (Primanti Bro’s, do it) & extraordinary views of the ‘burgh along the third base line. Lloyd McClendon probably ripped out first base in ‘01 to have a souvenir of this place.
ESPN: Go to the McNally's stand in left field, home of Mike Schmidt’s sandwich namesake: The Schmitter. Sliced steak topped with tomatoes, fried onions, layers of cheese, special sauce, and grilled salami.
ESPN: Remember when a swarm of insects lifted the Tribe to a playoff win on in ‘07? How ‘bout when a seagull gave Shin-Soo Choo a game-winning RBI in ‘09? Yup, the critters help the home team at the Prog.
ESPN: While everyone makes a beeline for Shake Shack, outsmart the crowd and head to Box Frites. They’ll serve you faster than a Doc Gooden heater, and you’ll have a smorgasbord of dipping sauces. Amazin’!
ESPN: There are nine humongous tiger statues scattered throughout the park. Along the outside walls, you can also find thirty-three tiger heads with lighted baseballs in their mouths. Roar, indeed.
ESPN: The roof, the roof, the roof is…retractable. The Skydome…er, Rogers Centre opened in 1989 with the world’s first-ever fully retractable roof. It takes twenty minutes to open & close the thing.

ESPN: Take a look in center field to find the “lone red seat,” where Ted Williams hit the longest recorded home run at Fenway. Where? Section 42, Row 37, Seat 21.
ESPN: There are 2 blue seats left here, both from Game 2 of the ‘05 World Series. In left, the spot of Paul Konerko’s 7th-inning grand slam. In right-center, the mark of Scott Podsednik’s walk-off homer.
ESPN: Peer out to right field. In a sea of teal, you’ll see a lone yellow seat in section 144. That’s where Wade Boggs’ 3,000th hit (a home run) landed back on August 7, 1999.
ESPN: Since its opening on 8/16/87, Sun Life Stadium (also known by 6 other names) has hosted five Super Bowls, two World Series, and three BCS National Championship Games. Not too shabby, eh?
ESPN: The admissions gates here are numbered according to Twins legends. LF is #6 (Oliva), CF is #3 (Killebrew), RF is #29 (Carew), Target Plaza (also in RF) is #34 (Puckett), and home plate is #14 (Hrbek).
ESPN: Richie Sexson, then of the Brewers, is the only player to have ever hit the flagpole in center. There used to be a visible mark from the ball until the 2011 season, when the pole was repainted.
ESPN: See that row of purple seats in the upper deck encircling the field? That marks exactly 5,280 feet (one mile) above sea level. Daunte Bichette couldn’t even hit a ball up to those bad boys.

ESPN: Who splashed the first-ever home run in the pool? None other than D-backs legend Mark Grace on 5/12/98. BUT, he hit it as a member of the Chicago Cubs.
ESPN: The first ever game ever at PETCO featured Mr. Padre, Tony Gwynn…but not the Padres. As manager of San Diego State’s baseball team, Gwynn led the Aztecs to a W over the Houston Cougars on 3/11/04.

ESPN: If the Halos are winning late in the game, don’t expect to see a primate. The Rally Monkey only appears on the stadium’s video screens if Anaheim heads into the 7th tied or trailing by 3 runs or less.
ESPN: Try a Doyer Dog (read: “Doyer Dog”, not “Dodger Dog”). This behemoth boasts chili, cheese, tomatoes, onions & jalepenos over a hot dog base. Finish one, then give a Kirk Gibson fist pump to celebrate.
ESPN: Don't leave AT&T Park without trying the Gilroy Garlic Fries. Your breath might reek afterwards, but hey, Pablo Sandoval can lend you a piece of bubblegum to fix that.
ESPN: On 7/11/90, Bo Jackson made his famous “wall run” catch in left center. Bo caught the ball, then ran on the wall sideways like Keanu in “The Matrix”. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a catch half as good.
