Gail A. • 7월 11, 2011probably my favorite beach so far in NY area. park by the Jacob Riis Park parking if you don't have a permit and then walk out to the beach.
Foxxy B. • 9월 8, 2017For a public "city" beach, I'm impressed. No, I didn't (& probably wouldn't) take a dip, but for Labor Day the beach was pleasantly crowded & surprisingly convenient. A → S train during the summer!
Carolyn H. • 8월 25, 2013It's pretty nice after a makeover after sandy they've got a nice beach bar on the boardwalk
Tracy S. • 4월 19, 2016Completely renovated and is so peaceful to take a nice walk -- especially before beach season and the crowds
Tiah • 7월 25, 2017Was a big disappointment. Thought it was similar to Coney Island but was not. Nice if you are just looking for a beach. I'm thinking we maybe didn't walk far enough.
Rockabus • 6월 30, 2013The Rockabus provides nonstop transportation from Williamsburg and the Lower East Side to Beach - 84th St. and Shore Front Parkway!
A.J. F. • 8월 29, 2011When crowded with surfers, head to Beach 66th (either walk the boardwalk or take the Q23). Great rights and lefts anywhere between the jetties parallel to Beach 68th thru Beach 59th.
Lydia V. • 9월 5, 2017Great beach with fairly easy access from NYC via the A train. Tip: don't wait until the end of the day to leave bc trains get crowded and you'll be standing the whole way home!! 4p, vs 5, 👌🏽
Krista M. • 8월 24, 2014Check out the new food court on the boardwalk at beach 17th street, they serve some really good jerk chicken.
New York Habitat • 2월 25, 2014One of the largest urban beaches in the U,S., this beach offers a long boardwalk, food vendors and a surfing area where you can ride the waves!
