EDR: Expensive and pretentious, go to Kildare village instead for some good quality deals.

Caroline R.: In Glendalough, away from the main ruins, sits the Reefert Church and cemetery. Its name derives from the Irish Righ Fearta, meaning “burial place of the kings”.

Tara Lee: A must see. Start early and hike the upper lake (4hours) or the lower lake (2hours) Breathtaking scenery. The monastic settlement and St. Kevin's Church are amazing.Do not leave Ireland w/o visiting.

Caroline Besancon: The farmer's market on saturdays is small with gorgeous foodstalls. Bring money! My Relaxing Time sells their beautiful home made soaps and products there.

Cearúilín Ni Riain: The painstakingly restored Kilkenny Castle was first constructed circa 1200. The home's most prominent owners were the wealthy Butler family.

Otel.com: This is where you'll discover the best of Irish and international literature, featuring Wilde, Beckett and other great writers. Have coffee and check out the books at the bookshop (modern annexe).

John Boyer: The bog bodies! The bog bodies! Freaky!

Noura Sayed: Not much to see here.. But worth visiting if you're in the area (free); also visit nearby places (archaeological museum + national gallery + Oscar Wilde statue)

Masha Krupskaya: Tucked behind the Castle so may not be easy to find but well worth a visit. Books and manuscripts are amazing, opt for the guided tour, it's free and a great experience.

Rich T: I'd recommend this to anyone local or visiting, it's great to see the biodiversity Kerry has to offer and it's really peaceful! Prices are reasonable and the 'boat safari' was cool!
