Kimmie Ohh: The park is named after Ralph Johnson Bunche, who was an American political scientist, academic, and diplomat who received the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize.
Kimmie Ohh: Luke’s Lobster can be found here. You’ll also find Ample Hills Ice Cream here (Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory used to be here). This is right by Old Fulton Street.
Kimmie Ohh: The John Street section of Brooklyn Bridge Park is the start or end (depending on the direction you’re headed) of the park. There are several pedestrian bridges here.
Kimmie Ohh: In addition to their delectable ice cream flavors, they serve alcohol here! They have rosé boozy pops & summer spritz slushies. They also have beer & wine.
