Matt Hantz: On Monday nights in the summer they have "drum parties", which are rumored to be a lot of fun, but be sure to have a parking pass for Sagaponack. It's the locals way of keeping out the riffraff (me).
Matt Hantz: Best beach in the Hamptons for kids: easy parking ($10 day pass), no waves, jungle gym and swing sets, clean bathrooms and BBQ grills. Great views of the yachts in the harbor, too.
Matt Hantz: If you arrive in Montauk after 8:00 all the wine stores are closed, but fear not, these guys sell small bottles of serviceable Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.

Dens: Absolute shitshow in the summer, but stop by anyway for a BBC w/ a floater. I reversed engineered the recipe to: blender, can of piña colada, half can of baileys, half can of rum, 2 bananas, ice Boom!
Tonia Ries: there is a parking problem at this restaurant. If you decide to go, consider coming by bike ... and please drive safely and slowly along Navy Road, which is a very narrow road not built for the volu
Matt Hantz: This is where many of the year-rounders eat. Delicious and reliable old skool Italian food. The puttanesca is my favorite thing on the menu. Don't get scared away by the anchovies; they're very mild.
The Corcoran Group: Cromer's fried chicken really rocks! Their meat selection, especially the parsley and cheese sausage, is of very good quality, too. Most East End restaurant get their meat here.
Matt Hantz: On busy weekends, this surf spot is a nice alternative to the crowded lineup at the Ditch. Waves tend to be slightly steeper than in Montauk.

Matt Hantz: Best take-to-the-beach food in East Hampton, and because of that, call your order in 20 minutes before you arrive. Otherwise pick-up is a production.
Matt Hantz: An East Hampton parking pass is required to park here, so drop your ride in the lot for The Inlet Seafood Restaurant. Just don't take a good spot; the restaurant staff will notice.
Matt Hantz: Yes, this place is crazy and many of the locals think its existence is a sign of the apocalypse, but Wednesdays at 6:00 they have children's-themes music and it's super cute.
Matt Hantz: They operate on the honor system, so try to remember what you ate so you can recount it correctly when you pay. (There's a special place in Hades for those purposefully deceive to save money.)
