Okay, I think I have just found one of the best restaurants in London. New on the scene, not cheap, but bloody brilliant if you are into discovering new tastes from around the world. An absolute must!
Insanely good. The vegetable dishes, starters and pickles are inspired. Definitely have the tomato salad, arepa with eggplant and labneh and the achar. Desserts also incredible.
Of the 3 starters sampled, we enjoyed the “Arepa, EggplantSambal, Bergamot Labneh” the most. Playful (u hv to break the bread shell & stuff it with sambal). Sambal was complex & flavourful
Of the 3 mains, we voted the “sea bass with pickledmustard green & tauco” the tastiest. Tauco (fermented bean sauce) paired well. BBQ chicken leg & beef cheekpastrami were too salty for our liking
Very nice restaurant and centrally located. Many veg options with a few fish dishes. Try the tomato salad, even if it’s on the expensive side. And leave some space for desert. Would go again.
A real explosion of flavours! 💥 Scully draws upon his mixed heritage to bring together flavours that have never been done before. He’s a real innovator!
