Roberto Bua: "Their queuing system is absurd (queue for ages, sit on a bench, go the the bar and THEN you can eat) but their food is just excellent. Get the cheese naan, the okra fries and anything from the grill."
Finding Our Feet Blog: "Fantastic place to bring the family. Two playgrounds, two cafes, duck pond & boating pond. Rent boats from £10/30mins (West lake). Great way to spend a day. 10-15mins walk from Mile End tube station."
Paul Davies: "At the east end of the park by Cadagoen Terrace there are some pedestrian stone alcoves from the parapets of the old London Bridge; the one with all the buildings on. Very chilled place to sit."
Serafettin B.: "Beautiful park a few too many pigeons. Lovely to see the squirrels and other birds though. Well worth walking threw on you way back from Buckingham palace. A very peaceful park and lovely place."
Antal János Monori: "Wonderful views of East London and more specifically of Canary Wharf. Quite inclined hike all the way up to the lookout. Huge Park with a lot of space to do picnic or sunbath in the summertime"
Charles Bosher: "Picnic in the flower gardens if with kids. Only buy ice cream on a hot day if you are willing to queue for an hour. Check out the Deer (hidden away but lovely). Observatory for best view in London."
