When you come here, don't just let the kids play. Do your best to teach them something about the exhibits that they have. Learning is one of the goals of the museum.

Did you know? Before it was home to the Children’s Museum, the building housed the 115th Field Artillery of the Tennessee National Guard from 1943 to the late 1970s.

If you are going to visit more than once you should become a member. Pays for itself!

Bring bathing suits for the splash pad, but even members have to pay an extra fee. And you have to pay to go in, even if you're not going to splash.

Kerry C. Is right. Bugs are cool. They were even serving frozen waxworms (not fake) on crackers to eat.
