I prefer the standard tonkotsu to the spicygarlic version; no reason to mess up the deep rich flavor. Make sure to add an egg (perfectly cooked!) and of course, those braised pork belly chunks.
Mmm, pork belly. Tontontaksu Ramen is awesome, spicy or plain. They also serve Sushi which is great. Good restaurant and very nice service. Gave us a good lead on the R2 unit we're looking for too.
Most perfectly cooked ramenegg ever. I'm a whimp when it comes to spiciness so I will order the mild spicy garlic tonkatsu broth next time. They give you a big portion of the karaageappetizer.
Had the spicy garlic tonkatsu. Average ramen, decent portion. Really good lunch special. 6 piece roll and bowl of ramen for $11. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it. However they play some great music!
The noodles were just about the only thing that didn't disappoint with the spicygarlic tonkotsu: A broth that was spicy but otherwise just boring, overcooked eggs and tough chashu.
Average ramen place, meats used for soups aren’t always fresh (smell weird). Appetizers-the deep fried stuff- is ok as are the vegetarian soups. Customer service was so so
Food quality is not consistent here. Sometimes the ramen is good. Had a few instances where the meat was old. Avoid everything on the menu unless it's spicy pork ramen.
