Really cool old-style indoor market. The building itself is beautiful and there's tons of great stuff at the various stalls from prepared foods to coffee and smoothies to fresh meat and produce.
It's like Reading Terminal market in Philly... lots of meat and fish and pastry inside + fresh fruit and other vendors outside!!! Definitely is fun to walk thru + most items are very reasonably priced
This is an incredible market! You won’t leave dissatisfied! Pretty much any food item you could want is available. We certainly didn’t leave hungry. Such a cool atmosphere and setup. Loved it!
Big market in Ohio city, you probably can find everything what you want, good price, great service, much better than Pike market in Seattle, which overpriced, because of touristic place
Don't try to come here on a Thursday, God forbid the place actually be open past 4 or open more than four days a week! Love the place but it's not shopper friendly!!!
A National Historic Location and the oldest market in the city. A cool place to visit even if you are not looking to shop. It is the cornerstone of the neighborhood which has developed recently.
The market is home to over 100 vendors of great ethnic diversity. You can find not only fine meats & fresh vegetables, but also fresh seafood, baked goods, dairy & cheese products, & fresh flowers.
Explore Cleveland's diversity with all the different sellers. Tons of different foods to choose from. Get to know a seller & be loyal to them, they will hook you up with produce, meat, etc.
A foodie paradise. Vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood, bread, dessert, oils, you name it, you'll find great quality at this Cleveland institution. Sits in the historic Ohio Cityneighborhood.
If you've never been to the West Side Market before, make sure to set aside a few hours to enjoy this national landmark. There's everything from produce, seafood, ethnic specialties, cheeses & meats.
Part butcher shop and grocer, part bakery, and the rest is random food and snacks. Would love to stop here daily if I lived nearby, but since I'm visiting, donuts and smoked meats will do nicely.
Many fresh products, anything from fruits and vegetables to meat, poultry, coffee, cheese, seafood, fish, dessert and many more... The building is an historical place and the people is very friendly.
A CLE staple! No where in the city can you find a larger selection of fresh, local produce, baked goods and butchers all in one place. And a little haggling will stretch your dollar ever further!
Saturdays very packed but still got great service at each of the vendors. The Juice Lady has decent fresh squeezed OJ. Various butchers to choose from. If it is your first take a look around first.
Steve's gyro is great. Potion is huge, and the meat is very tasty. Get the sauce on the side as it is very good but very garlicky. A little goes a long way.
A century old in 2012 and the produce is as fresh as ever at West Side Market. For the best photo opportunity get to the second level, for the best food take your pick from more than 100 vendors.
Check out Mena Produce in stalls 43 & 45 -- super polite! They'll let you sample all their wears too. I had no clue how good dried okra was. 440.319.7058 // MPDriedFruits@GMail.com.

Find your favorites and visit them first for the best deals...then go browsing. Many of the vendors will let you leave your packages for a later pick up - nice treat.
This is my favorite destinations in CLE. Rich in history and culture, the WSM is a must see for everyone, local and visitor alike. Great vendors and delish food. Grab a crepe or filalfel and enjoy!
Fox 8's Kristi Capel was surprised by how much was under one roof. "It's a large grocery store in your backyard," she says."There was a display at a butcher's booth that had a pig's head wearing."
