Gumbo was interesting, for you Southern expats. They use basamati rice which is kinda wierd, and the roux was a bit on the salty side, but good overall. Nice stiff drinks as they are next door.

Their beignets (deep-fried doughnut triangles) with powdered sugar & anglaise (coffee cream sauce) is a MUST!

HUGE and delicious late night happy hour menu. Fried green tomatoes a must try. Kitchen closes at 1am restaurant closes at 2am.

Like the triangle donut but the food is actually a little disappointing after hearing so much hype. Still good but not extraordinary.

It's not cheap anymore, $10 for most dishes, and some are much higher. And the time change from 9am to 8am

I can recommend the Seafood gumbo. Though I'm not sure it's really authentic. Needed a bit more zing/spice. Pecan Pie was a nice finish to take me back to the Gulf.
