Xx Xx: The best hidden bar. Walk in and order sherry at the bar and some snacksโ chorizo, manchego and olives. No photos, no tipping and no spitting.

John Anderson: Amazing market just off La Rambla. Itโs worth wandering a little deeper into the market as prices are more reasonable. Cones of Iberian ham and cheese are highly recommended.
Levent Akgerman: The owner was very attentive hosting in a classic setting out of story books. Red mullet liver, fish soup, squid w/glazed onions, squid w/nero seppia, crab, and of course turbot!

Ricardo Arcos: To eat of the โbueyesโ of Josรฉ Gordรณn is like drinking a bottle of the finest Bordeaux. Every animal is different. The flavor is complex and nuanced and you will find a new sensation every time.
Seve Ponce de Leon: The toughest and most exciting table in the city, where chef David Muรฑoz channels his early experiences at restaurants like Nobu and Hakkasan into an haute Spanish experience.

The Ritz-Carlton: People have been coming to La Boqueria since the 13th century. Don't miss the fish market early each morning, and head back in the afternoon for drinks and tapas in one of the bars inside.
Marnix K: Extraordinary creativity and quality. Go for the Gran Menu and let the chef surprise you with everything from the sea you never even dared to think of... and more :P
