Date shake was great! There’s a decent amount of outdoor seating, some of which is covered
This is an old-school coffee roastery/shop that doesn’t follow the latest trends of minimalist + plant aesthetic and lightly roasted fruity/acidic East African beans. That said I enjoyed my macchiato
Probably the best beer of all the Ballard breweries. There’s outdoor seating with QR code ordering, but no shade or heat. Food is fast-food-style but way cheaper than you’d expect at a brewery
Sesame seitan “wings” and king oyster mushroom bao were my favorites, but we tried 9 dishes and I wouldn’t rate anything below “good”
Maybe the best coffee on the NE side. Skip the breakfast sandwiches and burritos though
Good cortado. They’re not doing pour overs right now. There are a few outdoor chairs and a couple small tables
Burger reminded me of in n out (in a good way). Double the price of in n out, but the burger is also twice as big. Fries were decent. Shake was so heavy I could only finish ~20%. No onion rings now
Enjoyed the tacos! And they’ve got two heaters for their wide open outdoor seating that nobody seems to use
Loved the fast break! Spanish fly is a bit fancier and is also good, but doesn’t quite work as well together
Tacos are great! Sopes are also good. Nothing else I’ve tried though has been as special
Enjoyed the pork belly and goat cheese skewers and the pretzel with lingonberry mustard. Beer selection isn’t amazing but they’ve got a few good ones
