Cute shop. They do private room rentals in the back too. Good for classes or birthdays. Not super friendly but whatever.
Whether it's a basketball game, a concert or the circus you will feel like you're at the center of the universe in New York's most famous venue. Penn Station being downstairs is very convenient too.
Great. Dive. Bar. Can't go wrong here. It gets crowded but the hipsters are kept to a minimum. Solid beer selection.
Lines can be a but long but I wouldn't use any other bank. Try to stay out of here during the weekends.
This place has been around for like 50 years. Nothing but Boar's Head here. Cash only though. Get a bag of onion rings with your sandwich. You'll thank me.
Check out Tracks bar and take advantage of their happy hour. Very reasonable for midtown.
Love the staff and the food. I'll go out of my way for a burger from this place. Oh, and the desserts are killer.
The only church in Astoria I really feel welcomed in. The folks in this congregation are all super nice and not pushy.
Can get a bit ghetto but if you catch it at the right time not bad. Air conditioning is always just right. Staff is courteous. Get your tix from the self service kiosk to avoid long lines.

Be careful not to confuse Queensboro Plaza with Queens Plaza. They are right next to one another and there's no free transfer between the two and completely different train lines....
