Tallest of Dublin's landmarks. A lot of buses stop here. You can reach from airport via Airlink 747 which accepts visitor leap card and then take another bus to your destination e.g. 46A to dbltree.
Huge huge gardens of the chateau de Versailles. Great pleasure to walk on a sunny day. In the summers the water fountains add to the majesty of the gardens. Enjoy boating in the lake.
Free wi-fi. Air France operated from west terminal. Low cost airlines like easyjet from south terminal. Security check is quite quick. CDG to here via AF bus 3.
Terminal 2 is better than terminal1. The security takes a long long time. Good cafes and shops available. Gates 201-220 is one way. If your gate is not there then don't venture there.
Novartis is located here. Nearest bus stops are Merrion Gates and Rock road(Bellvue Avenue)/Tara Towers Hotel. Reach via Bus 4, 7, 8. Aircoach 702, 703.
Take a return ticket that will cost EUR 16. Free wi-fi. 700 goes to a lot of hotels like doubletree, etc. 702, 703 are good for coming back to airport from Elm Park (Novartis, Allianz, etc.).
Great Indian food. If you need to have authentic spicy food ask the level of spice that the owner/server eats and they will prepare the food just like that. Punjabi chicken and veg balti are awesome.
Great fresh food. Absolutely loved their tarts. Great place to have fresh and hot food at terminal 2E.
If you miss a flight (Air France) contact the customer desk. They gave an alternate flight to Basel although for next day and from Paris Orly. Vouchers for hotel, airport transfers & food included.
Wi-Fi is slow and intermittent. You can however find a place in your room (mine it was the toilet ;)) where it ran smoothly.
Gateway to Waldenburg, Reigoldswill. Reach from Basel via S3, IR, Bus 81(from Aeschenplatz).
Awesome scenery. Hotel bubendorf is just in front. Reach via line 19, 70, 71 from Liestal. Line 70/71 carry on to Reigoldswill (wasserfallen). Line 19 to Waldenburg
Reach via line #19 from Liestal. Great journey to Waldenburg, lots of places to get down and enjoy a relaxed afternoon in summers.
Worth one trip. In the middle of the pond/water. Spend a relaxed afternoon/evening strolling the castle and surrounding area. Bus 34, 47, 61 and Tram 10. Right next to bus/tram stop.
Spend a lazy afternoon, strolling in the vast green space in and around Flüh. Reach via tram #10. Ruine landskron is nearby.
Awesome in the summers. Take a boat to the centre of the falls. Quite relaxing. From Basel take a BW ticket and reach Schaffhausen and then S-Bahn to Rheinfall station.
Swiss ferries on Konstanz lake can be boarded from this station. These are included as part of GA. You can reach Mainau, uberlingen, etc. from here. German ferries ply from Konstanz and are not in GA.
Take to lake Léyman (Geneva) from this picturesque pier. You can take the boat from the pier right next to Chateâu de Chillon as well.
