The Loco Moco is excellent and worth trying. A bit like meatloaf on a bed of rice. Rich and savory gravy. You can skip the Mac salad.
This place is a little pricy, but the coffee and pastries are good. The pastries are very flaky and just melt in your mouth.
You can beat the gorgeous views and scenery. Nice place to just relax.
Wonderful Mediterranean restaurant that was amazing all around. All the food was excellent. The red pepper feta dip was out of this world. Highly recommend this place.
For off the interstate Mexican, you really can’t do much better than this. Surprisingly very good and excellent choice. Food was great. I recommend the burritos.

This is a phenomenal place for pizza and definitely one of the best. It’s not a true Chicago deep dish, but is in a category of its own. Excellent sauce and sausage. Highly recommended.

It’s a tie between Portillo’s and Al’s for best beef sandwich, but I have always loved this place and every location is consistent. Try their lemon cake which is phenomenal.
This is a clean location with great service. Not the highest end restaurant or quality of food, but they take pride in keeping the food fresh which is all you need for a place like this to work.
