Just get the regular parking, the preferred parking is 15$ more and it only gets you closer to the elevators/escalators . . . Not a huge advantage. You still have long lines waiting for the tram
The cast members are there to guide you to a parking space! Sometimes you'll get close and other times you won't. Either way, don't be an ass about it. You should be expecting to walk all day anyways.
Going up the ramp, look to see if both lanes are entering the same level. If they are, try to be in the right lane. If the left lane is going up one level higher, be in the left lane. Closer parking!
Remember when you parked. The last thing you want to do after walking through a park all day is to walk through a garage. Take a picture of your spot and the nearest sign so you remember.
Don't ask to park closer... the cast members do everything they can to get you parked as quickly and efficiently as possible while making sure you're close! Plus, you'll be walking all day anyway!
The speed limit is 14 mph. Please abide by it especially on busy days, there are a lot if kids around! And listen to the cast members when they direct you where to park, they know what they are doing
When entering avoid the far left lane. It takes you to the new structure and adds 30 more minutes to park. Also the parking spots are extremely narrow so watch out for door dings.
During early afternoons, Disney traffic reroutes from this lot, even when not full. Plan on parking elsewhere to save gas and time from driving around due to their amazingly stupid parking policies.
Watch the firework show from the top of the parkingstructure to experience the display in a whole new way. Best viewing location is the stairwell near the escalators.
Does not matter where you park your car can get keyed..Toy story lot is at least 20 min faster then the parkingstructure, and has a less wait then the teams and drops you off closer to the entrance
If you are handicapped, be sure to show your handicapped placard on the way in. This allows you to park on the first level, not far from the trams. Saves you a walk if walking is an issue for you.
If the lines are long for the tram back to the structure then just walk through Downtown Disney and turn right at the ESPN Zone. Walk through the parking lot, cross the street at the crosswalk, voilà
Look for open seats in the first and last car. People who are too lazy to fold their strollers take up most of the queue, but usually not all of the seats.
Although Signs on Ball Rd. instruct you to go down harbor to park at the Toy Story lot, you can still go to the Mickey Structure... My car got keyed in the Woody Lot...
