Raphael Langenscheidt: All day favorite. Relaxed coffee shop by day, cool bar in the back at night. Good drinks, medium music. Good vibe.

M W: Excellent coffee. The flat white is a strong challenger for best in Manhattan. Head into the hotel rather than relying just on the truck in the front. Enjoy the quieter atmosphere in the back garden.

Chad Horner: tucked away in a quiet area of the west village, the Elk offers coffee from Parlor Coffee and pastries from Ovenly as Balthazaar, as well as breakfast and lunch until 4 pm.
