Andrew C: Great taco/Mexican joint around the area... first time at any and it was super filling and tasty, but mostly meat and rice/beans - no other fillings (lettuce, salsa, cheese, veggies, etc)
Andrew C: Great new make-your-own pizza spot... they have some chef specials and huge menu of individual ingredients!! $7 for half and $11 for full- def get the full size
Andrew C: Wonderful atmosphere with filling and tasty Greek foods + wine!!! 2018 restuarant week menu has different items, but great deal and decently-sized meal... staff was friendly and not too pushy

Andrew C: Its beautiful here, definitely can get crowded and overwhelming with so many people on the fields or picnic area... the trails are mostly clear and easy to navigate (big circle around the lake)!!
Andrew C: Cute little Italian spot, in restaurant row closest to 8th Ave... some classic dishes and few unique ones - all of it was tasty and fresh!!! The pizzas are very thin crust and will melt in your mouth
Andrew C: Like the other lines, it is cheap and cute to ride and not too comfy... this one goes thru the main area of NOLA, passing the edge of French Quarter up to City Park (museum of art) or the cemeteries
Andrew C: Enjoyable and informative 2-hour river cruise... the tour guide was very knowledgeable on NOLA history and plenty of seating + for 10am cruise, get the $15 unlimited mimosa special at the boat's bar!!
Andrew C: Near the convention center, so it's quite the trek from Bourbon... but definitely worthwhile: got the duck wings (chewy but delicious) and classic fried chicken (decent portion and perfectly fried)!!

Andrew C: Obviously, you start and end the tour within the gift shop (but they have free water bottles); the actual warehouse is crazy big with workstations and actual decorations for so many different floats!!
Andrew C: Huge space with classic bar, dueling piano stage (wonderful musicians), and an expansive outdoor patio/bar in the back... its known for the world-famous Hurricane drink (but it's not that good TBH)
Andrew C: Super cheap ballpark - $12 for third row seats and so many food specials/deals on various nights... decent team on the field (at times, ha)!!!
Andrew C: Really nice venue... courtyard and balcony seating is wonderful, they pump the music to these areas too!!! The food options are actually quite great+tasty and bartenders are friendly+quick to serve!
Andrew C: Love it here... so many street performers and live music everywhere -- plenty of venues with no or low cover and great live bands playing all night!!!
Andrew C: Got the pre-fix with octopus app was salty and chewy, but oh so good... the moussaka was overly bready, but filling was phenomenal... dessert was bleh // fish entree was fishy , great sauce tho!!!
Andrew C: Like many venues, this small bar/pub has live music - usually an amazing jazz band... they took requests, chatted with the crowd, all very personable!!! No cover, but ya must order at least one drink
Andrew C: YAAAS this museum is all about food, and some drinks - full of local artifacts, history, and items from each Southern state!!! You're allowed to buy drinks from attached bar and walk around the space!

Andrew C: Original location of this po boy shop... menu is quite extensive and fries shrimp po boy + shrimp/grits + etouffee fries were all so phenomenal and hot and delicious and I want it again!!!
Andrew C: Very extensive museum investigating the US involvement to this global war... awesome to see exhibits on both European and Pacific wars, with strong focus on how it impacted life in American homes
Andrew C: Wonderful piece of art and portrayed beautifully with symbolism to the stages of the Holocaust... sad many people don't stop and realize or even look at it, let alone read or pay tribute to it
Andrew C: Small, but enjoyable rooftop pool with patio chairs and tables (at times, people are up here drinking and having fun)... nice getaway from boring apartment and/or craziness of bourbon st
Andrew C: Recommended to visit here for the Rockefeller oysters and hmmm yummy, great choice... they give you small complimentary oysters before your meal + my fiancé loved the specialty cocktails!!
Andrew C: Awesome exhibits on Katrina impact and Mardi Gras history... much larger than expected, be ready to take about 90 min or more to get thru both floors (especially if ya read each poster/artifact)!+
Andrew C: Hot and fresh and tasty beignet with powdered sugar... with some café au lait (iced is just okay, it's more of a coffee slushie)!!! If there's an empty table, take and be prepared to pay in cash
Andrew C: Deliciously amazing and chicken was fried to perfection - honestly, don't need any sides!! The line took about 1hr for sit-down meal, but 10 min for take-out (then another 45 min for your fresh order)
Andrew C: Market and restaurant for fresh, delicious seafood... it is all phenomenal - new England clam chowder was fishy and creamy + broiled whole fish were seasoned perfectly and hot when brought to table!!!
