There's a fantastic exhibition of quilts on view now from contemporary artists and also traditional quilts. Textile lovers, don't miss it!

Visit on a Friday evening and attend the museum's 'Free Music Fridays.' From 5:30 to 7:30 pm you can have a drink in the cafe while enjoying amazing live folk music in the stunning atrium.

Very unusual quilt exhibition on view. Really worth the visit. Open late, and free!

Very exciting and rare exhibitions you wouldn't find in a "regular" museum. Admission is free, donations are welcome

It's cool but pretty tiny -- check to see if the current exhibition is something that interests you, since their permanent collection isn't on display.

You have to stop in. Admission is based on donation for a really small gallery. Really cool gift shop!

The museum is closed for construction but the museum store is still opened.
