Anders Sjöstedt: The newly launched H&M Home range can offer interesting additions to your home, especially if you live outside Scandinavia (where the range isn't available).

Anders Sjöstedt: Not the same surreal meeting place as their first location on Hornsgatan (now Mellquist), but still one of the best coffee hotspots you'll find. No food.

Anders Sjöstedt: The classic panelled 1960s "konditori" interior has been preserved and updated flawlessly and all of grandma's cookies are here. Get a mazarin, a good coffee and step back in time.

Anders Sjöstedt: Best place for quick food and drink in Gamla Stan, and an excellent view over Stortorget. It always had a rainbow flag outside, but this being Sweden it's just taken by people as a quality mark.

Anders Sjöstedt: The perfect outing, almost any time of the year. Beautiful surroundings and great food.

Anders Sjöstedt: Tiny but with solid coffee and a good crowd.

Anders Sjöstedt: Food to bring home or eat, shopping, quick coffees and browsing.

Anders Sjöstedt: Combined cafe, freelance workspace (probably unintended but still) and design shop. Great place to meet and hang.

Anders Sjöstedt: As close as you get to Soho House in Stockholm. Run by Berns and with a slightly over-the-top interior, it hits the mark for drinks, food and atmosphere.

Anders Sjöstedt: Paris+Texas in Gamla Stan. Always a pleasure.

Anders Sjöstedt: Afternoon tea or an evening cocktail. Depending on the time of day it can be either calming or frenetic. Gobsmacking view over the waters and the castle.

Anders Sjöstedt: Relaxed, contemporary and more pleasant than the fancier upstairs restaurant. You'll still need to book.

Anders Sjöstedt: Tiny restaurant. Tiny menu. Unbelievable quality.

Anders Sjöstedt: 50s equipment slow roast beans to perfection.
