Miguel is an excellent guide. He genuinely puts in a lot of passion into each group. If you get the tasting tour, the portions of tequila and mescal served are quite generous.
Excellent brunch / breakfast place, especially as a hangover cure. Get the gourmet eggs breakfast and the Citrus Maxima juice.
Great value for movie tickets: ~ £3-4 for the English shows. Ticket booking machines in the lobby don't seem to work with international credit / debit cards, so just head straight to the counter.
Price difference between normal and platinum screen is ~ 20-30 MXN so it's totally worth it. English shows will be marked separately as "Premium Ingles".

An excellent hotel with great staff, and the executive rooms are amazing with a proper table and Nespresso machines. Free WiFi is great with ~15mbps download / upload speeds. Staff is friendly!

Well-hidden speakeasy in the city with live jazz. Surprisingly empty given its proximity to the City. Zero mobile signal given its deep basement location but that's probably a good thing!
There are jacket hooks beneath the high tables for hanging coats/jackets - easy to miss but so handy!
This is a tiny and authentic sushi place: extensive menu, and very homely service. For something appealing to mainstream palates, the namesake Ichiriki sushi roll is quite good.
Tasting menu has excellent choices. However, the staff can be quite pretentious.
Entrance to the most screens is, quite deceptively, through the Costa Coffee entrance which leads into the Odeon - not the main doors (usually).
The bar can either be accessed from outside the station off the to right side around the corner, or via Platform 1b.
