Their feta cheese is beyond words, especially the mixed cow, goat and lamb. So hygienic and relatively inexpensive

I enjoy the trip to Ankara Citadel for the nostalgia - the sarcophogi and the pieces of fountain mosaics which make up part of the inner walls just blow my mind. Lots of antique and bric-a-brac stores
The reason I visit is the exquisite Bedri Rahmi Eyboğlu “oxcart” mosaic mural - it is clean which is a plus - other than that everything else is average
Best kebab restaurant in Göktürk - clean, tasty and relatively inexpensive. Definitely try the “şaşlık” which is deliciously marinated.
Definitely the best way to travel in Istanbul is by boat - traffic free. Unfortunately there are not enough lines
Apparently once upon a time it was a tobacco warehouse, due to its proxinitt to the harbour. hence the name. Currenly it is used for exhibitions and conferences

I like this shopping center because it is spacious, has a free link to the metro and has free carpark. The selection of shops is pretty extensive, a fine food court. It lacks a good book store though
Best liver on screws and tantuni - the restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff are super nice. There is a car park which is a huge plus for Istanbul

120 km of labyrinth 100 metres below ground. The tour organised via buggy carts. Make sure to book in advance & to go for wine tasting. Angela Merkel stores some wine there. Incredible experience
The colour of the water looks brown yet it is so calming. It is the favourite destination for wedding photography and for families with kids. It is the pearl of Chisinau. Go for the zen effect.

Well there is so much history there. The main building is really old and falling apart yet it is so ornate, so beautiful. All the decorations are so fine.Kids play soccer in the plot next door.
Closed for restorations since 2004. Unfortunately you cannot go inside yet the building, although not well kept, is still definitely worth the visit, it is part of history
They sat you have to stay here for a real Soviet style experience - it is huge and imposing. Did not see the rooms but the building and the lobby are grand
Well most supermarkets are Sheriff in Tiraspol. For a closed economy, I was very surprised with the wide range of products and how orderly and well kept it was.
Small yet clean and efficient. There is an exchange office where the rate is pretty decent, Kvint store opposite and a WC for 2 Rouble. It also serves as a bus station for Moldova
It is noisy and crowded and very colourful. You can find almost anything at the myriad stands. It is where the locals shop - you can wonder around for hours and hours. So much fun
It is small yet efficient. The range qt dutyfree is quite extensive. They have the cutest childrens bathroom. There are plugs everywhere, huge luxury. Bus # 30 goes directly into city centre, 45 mins
Local food, local atmosfere, efficient, delicious and inexpensive. Cannot get any better. They have outside seating in the summer
