Caleb T5월 14, 2011My perfect Blackbird visit. An Apple Chai with a shot of amaretto for a drink, and a roast beef with Swiss on a pretzel roll bun. Easily fixes anything a bad day could throw at you.
Ask for either "something lunchy" or "something dinnery," let them know of you have any allergies and then let them whip up something magical! The best way to order!
Christine Hisick9월 21, 2012I order from Blackbird because they can deliver a good lunch when I'm too busy to get out. The soups are always super-delicious; my favorite is the butternut squash. And they deliver in 20-30 min.

Jimmy Williams2월 21, 2014You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you like blue cheese and Ruebens, then the blue cheese rueben is a must.
Hard to go wrong here, but try the Roasted Veggie on Pretzel Roll w/Goat Cheese. Redefines the sandwich for others to follow. Use a fork and enjoy it like a meal.

Definitely best cafe in Valpo! Awesome atmosphere, great people, amazing food and baked goods all made from scratch!
Alex (I'm pretty sure that is her name) makes my tea with minimal sarcasm...and I appreciate that.

- Keep an eye out for Blackbird Bakery at the corner of Washington & Jefferson. Good baked goods to go!
