Jane Sheehan11월 23, 2011BB is fantastic because not only do they sell new & used, but they also have a great selection of gifts, plus a lecture series! :) As far as Boston area bookstores go, this is hands down my favorite.
Staff super friendly. Selection incomparable. They'll order you a book if you don't see it. trade in paperbacks for credit. search for bargains in the used basement. superb author readings.

The best bookstore in Boston by far. Great selection. Friendly staff and fascinating author events in the basement level.

Used graphic novels downstairs, typically costing just over half the cover price. Lots to choose from too!
- Laura Days7월 18, 2014The staff downplays lines for readings and signings...if the line forms at 6:00pm and doors open at 6:30, plan to get in line by 5:30pm or you will be disappointed.
The staff here is always helpful and friendly, and their selection is clearly thought out. Great spot to shop for gifts.
