Justin Ordoveza12월 22, 2016Free admission on Wednesday but you still have to pay for parking. In winter some animals are not on display. The giraffe, rhinoceros, sea birds exhibits can be smelly.
Ray H6월 1, 2013Try to avoid going on Wednesdays which is the one day admission is on a donation basis. Most individuals don't donate so you get riffraff attending. In addition, school trips happen a lot on that day.
Dawn Maggio6월 28, 2013The Dinosaur Safari was more geared for little kids. For older people it'll be kinda boring so unless you have young ones in your group, you may want to skip it and save the time. Love the zoo though!
imbookin10월 13, 2011It's the most famous Zoo in NYC and for a reason… it’s HUGE. AND exciting. Host an event here & sip cocktails below the leaves in the gorilla forest. Or perhaps the Dancing Crane Pavilion is ur scene.
The animals, the amazing staff and the rides (monorail and big carousel) are the reasons we love the Bronx Zoo.

Alex Nicholson7월 29, 2015Student discounts are not advertised but super worth mentioning! Be prepared to walk A LOT. There is a shuttle but it only does pick ups on one of the four sides of the park...kind of stupid...
Winter time is zoo time. Many animals love the cold and it's a completely different experience without the crowds.
Boo at the Zoo is so much fun!!! The zoo puts on wonderful activities throughout the year. Membership is absolutely worth it

One nicer days, try to get to the zoo at opening. The crowds are smaller, and the animals are often more active.
