Veal risotto and steak, both very very delicious! I spend €80 on a 2 person dinner; mains and desserts, bottle of wine and port to finish. Great service, really top notch!

We arrived fairly early and the place was full, unfortunately we had not booked. But they found space round the bar. Fantastic food and highly recommended the restaurant!

Best experience in Porto. The tuna and salmon as apprtizers were mind blowing. Also the beefrisotto and hazelnut! Aagghhh so good. I also loved the service guy, he was funny and very helpful!
A charged couvert (bread, black olive oils, truffle butter and tomato sauce) that worth the try. I’ve ordered Veal Risotto and couldn’t be any happier - such magnificent recipe that was brought to me!
The best place to have dinner in Porto ! The lemon/ basil/ gin cocktail was wonderful as the tapas ! I highly recommend the fried cod, the tuna and the eggs !
Enjoyed the scallops and poultrylivers, great starters. Would skip the main and go with three starters next. The hazelnutdesert had good flavors, but lacked any texture. Amazing service.

Probably the best restaurant in Porto. And affordable too..! Be sure to try the cod with exploding olives! Wait... what..? Yes, exploding olives. Fruit salad with mojito foam is also extraordinary!

Praticamente tudo é bom! Os ovos semi escalfados são muita bons! O Atum é muita bom (pedir bem mal-passado!!), o Bife à Cantinho é incrível!!! Eventualmente deitam uma pitada de sal a mais em tudo.
This whole experiences was incredible. The truffle butter to start was a simple highlight for me. We were also blown away by the tempuragreen beans and the confittuna. The service was exceptional.
Amazing Portuguese food, lovely staff, beautiful atmosphere! Really good value for money, enjoyed every second of this experience! I would suggest for everyone to visit Cantinho do Avillez!!!
Amazing! Service and food! Definitely try: scallops with avocadomousse (will blow your mind) and the cod. Steak is ok, nothing special, but be sure to save some space for the Hazelnut!
we were first turned off by the high-ish prices (starters 7-10e, mains 17-20e), but the quality of everything made it very worthwhile. great wine and food as well as pro service :)

The cod is over cooked & tasteless. The grilled octopus is pretty good though. Forget about the hazelnutdessert, it’s too sweet. However the cocktail MX ginger is excellent, credit to the bartender!
You go in expecting to be blown away and while it’s very good, it’s not impressive. Very far from the Michelin levels that the place aspires to. Overall a little disappointing 8.9/10.
