Bacareto da Lele is "perfetto" for a quick sandwich and glass of wine; very inexpensive and wonderfully fresh! Sandwiches are less than 1 euro...find it at Campo Dei Tolentini in Santa Croce.

Gianduiotto di Nico is a healthy slice of chocolate and hazelnut gelato in a froth of panna (whipped cream). Best enjoyed while gazing out over the Giudecca Canal at Gelateria Nico on the Zattere.
