Cento is one of those places when you're old and gray and run into someone somewhere and you both worked south of market "back in the day" and connect with "omigod of course Cento was the best ever!"
Lisa Dino5월 25, 2016Not too important when going in to get great coffee, but they played awesome music on my last visit. Had a happy retro rockabilly vibe and that made my experience more warm and welcoming.
While the baristas here tend to be less friendly and talkative than folks at other shops, they make excellent espresso drinks and their prices are affordable compared to other places.

Tim Falls4월 9, 2014Nifty little alley coffee shop. Detach from your desk, take a stroll and grab a mid-afternoon boost, get back to the office to enjoy that tasty beverage while being all productivey.- They accept credit cards now! Visit their sister cafe, Cafe Lambretta, for more food options.
If you have time to hang out for a bit, get the Cento (not available to go). Similar to a cappuccino, but with a bit less milk foam.

Tiny coffee spot in an alleyway. No seating, cash only. Solid espresso and cappuccino.

Simply the best coffee you can find in SoMa. And probably the best latte of the city.
Get the Cento and a freshly toasted chocolate croissant - delicious way to start the day!
If you don't need something to go get the macchiato. Cento bars are good too.
The "good humor" sticker in the back is so ironic!! Good coffee tho...
The soy milk here always gets curdle-y in my cappuccino. Stick with the cow-stuff if you can.
in the morning, when we're busy, paying when you order works better--best to wait till we tell you how much your order costs and our hands are free. no need for awkwardness!
Get the "Cento": it's their version of a Gibraltar served in a highball glass.

Try Cento coffee. Tastes great and is served in a nice glass.
Heavy hitter. Ice coffee (chicory) + a shot. They ring the bell! They may card you if you order this
The "Cento" is the perfect afternoon pick me up. John's team keeps it tight.
Bring cash. Otherwise, you're the guy everyone hates who holds up the line and the building is the size of "very small", so.
almond, dark chocolate oatmeal cookie. good with espresso & good for you.
Get one of the hump-day special hot dogs from next door! The sausage is great, and he makes pretty fantastic fries.
