Woodland4월 25, 2011When packing a flashlight or torch or any other item with batteries for that matter, turn the batteries around so that if the item is accidentally turned on, you won't empty the batteries.
Apart from the great decor at the airport. The immigrations experience to enter Mumbai is terrible.60 odd counters available and only a fraction manner .more than an hr in queue is lousy.
If you like a AK47's being paraded around willy-nilly, this will be your favorite airport.

Seb G7월 26, 2014Don't put any valuable items into the check in luggage if you can carry them with you. Power up your TSA lock. Unless, you want something precious stolen or you don't care who gets your gifts. Shame.
You can browse Internet for free if you have free time after security check.

Gaurav Saxena6월 15, 2015Terminals 4 and A4 are at very different locations and require different security checks. Be careful to not get confused between the two before going through security check.
You need lots of patience at this airport. Carry your iPhone loaded with games to spend time while waiting.

Huge queue for security which bottlenecks into a small alley. Don't try and look left or right for the shorter side!

Extremely crowded. There's no sign board at the few gates. It gets really confusing.
This is hands down worst Indian airport for arrivals. Fights in immigration area, no regard for posted labels, incompetent staff and ridiculously long lines to get out of the airport. Avoid Mumbai

The most ridiculous WiFi access system. Send a msg and they send a code(which may not reach You) n access a 'edge' speed Wifi! While on international roaming its a complete waste!

Manash Baruah7월 26, 2012If you want to take a shared taxi, go out of the airport, till the main road. Beware of the agents. Do not pay unless you get a seat in a cab. Pay in front of the driver. Get a receipt.
