These markets take place every Friday morning. They're a nice change from the bustle of the Byron farmer's markets. Relaxed and friendly, they're the real deal.

Great place to take the family. Take a picnic (or they have a cafe) and take your time. Good for overseas visitors too as you get up close to everything. Don't let shabby highway frontage put you off.

If getting in the water go to the southern end of the beach, Its less crowded by tourists and is always patrolled.

It doesnt really matter which part of a day u decide to spend here! however early morning photos are very unusual with a mysterious mist, moreover, sunset time highlights the beautiful colors!!!

There are 3 highlighted paths. If you are short of time the most impressive is down in to the Gorge. It's stunning.

I recommend the Lilly Pilly Gully Track: walk in the eucalyptus forest and enjoy the view at the top of Mount Bishop.
