Ask for the chicharrones especiales. They are delicious. Jamon Iberico and Morcilla de Higado are also good.

Nice tapas joint with delightful small plates. The duck and orange was a highlight, and the chocolate explosion dessert with gold frosting and what might have been Pop Rocks inside was a real treat!

Fell in love w this place. Great tapas, friendly stuff n cozy place. Had to wait to get a tablet for 45 min but it worths it. You have plenty of options, don't panic just go with servants suggestions.
Loved this place — ate here twice this week. A few other tourists but mostly crowded with locals. About 20 euros for five beers and five tapas. Croquettes, carrillada, spinach/garbanzos all fantastic.
We had a fantastic dinner at El Traga for our honeymoon. The service was exceptional (esp. Javier). All the food was amazing, esp. the smoked salmon. One of the best meals we had on the whole trip!
Comida portuense de la buena. Atún encebollado, croquetas de cocido y para acabar: tocinillo con tarta de queso. Fenomenal!
