    Amazing mexican seafood restaurant. Good service, spicy salsas and big portions. Try the clamato michelada, Mexico's take on Bloody Mary.

    The dinner for 2, 3 or 4 is FANTASTIC! Crab legs, mussels, shrimp, octopus, squid, mahi mahi, chicken, steak, veggies and more! Cooked to perfection!

    Amazing large portions! Crab, small shrimp and mahi mahi amazing. Avoid the steak-- not tender and dry. margaritas are nicely priced but low on booze content. Great Mexican seafood gem in Chicago!

    The waitresses are very friendly. However, I had the chicken enchiladas and they where not very tasty. My cousin had the carne asada dinner which she also thought the steak needed more seasoning.

    Their octopus Ceviche is the best overall ceviche in the actual city, next to the one I make in my kitchen.

    Must try! Had the carne asada and it was amazing! Also the shrimp ceviche was a 10/10. No complaints great environment too

    Everything is very tasty here. Frankly, not many flaws here. Food is fresh and the fish is the star.

    Just had the best steak of my life. Get the parrillada for a large group of people. The steak is towards the bottom, mmm.

    Great food, but if you are light sensitive get a seat inside. The outdoor fence lighting is harsh on the eyes and ineffectual on the food.

    And while I'm on the subject, I've been to Veneno de Nayarit across the street three or four times and enjoyed that MUCH more. The entire Barco experience was unsatisfactory. :-(

    How did a Mexican restaurant forget my chips and tortillas??? Plus when is the raising of the Mariacada going to stop???Used to be $65 now it is $94 with less food.

    The El Barco Style Prawns are so addicting, you'll come back tomorrow for more. Oh, make sure to get a mango margarita to complete this incredible meal.

    I would skip this one. Just go across the street to "Alegrías" or even better to "La Costa." They also charge for each soft drink refill (Europe?) weird. Food is nothing to write home about.

    The portions are GIGANTIC! Get the shrimp in white wine, garlic and cilantro. Boneless snapper chipotle style is incredible.
