Visit Philly12월 14, 2011Elfreth’s Alley is well-known to most locals & visitors, but Bladen’s Court is a hidden courtyard off the alley that packs even more punch. Rumors are that it is haunted & a soldier was hung there.
HISTORY8월 31, 2012Established in 1702, this is known as America’s oldest residential street and today is lined with more than 30 houses, dating from the 1720s to 1830s.

Elfreth's Alley is America's oldest continuously occupied residential street. Stop by the gift shop at house 124 where all proceeds go to the preservation and education efforts on the Alley. Visit our house museum at #126 via a $5 tour guided by one of our knowledgable docents.
