Turn right when you exit. Head down the 2nd road on your right (Southern Grove) and pay a visit to a very cool place...Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. It will blow you away, a gem in the Borough.
The Soanes Centre is the base for two charities. The Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park and Setpoint London East.
Used to be the home of the Cemetery Company, when they existed and the Cemetery was active.The site is now a Park & closed to burials in 1966.
Tonight at 9pm on @BBC1 you can see the Cemetery Park on @bbcluther that stars non other than @idriselba look out for the tree hanging scene.
Get up early and go listen. The early morning birds' songs is a great way to start the day.
It's official folks! For the second year running The Friends have been awarded a Green Flag Community Award for 2013/14. Yay!
