This is possibly the most confusing building ever designed. But you have to visit it once, just because it's so unique. GM did some great renovations. The Wintergarden is awesome!

Beautiful place, but easy to get lost in. Also most stores and aren't open on the weekend, and the tour isn't offered on weekends either.

With over 70 stores and restaurants, a hotel, a 4-screen movie theater, and 5 million square feet of floor space, the Renaissance Center is so large it has its own zip code!
- Kristin10월 22, 2012Service in Volt Lounge was snail-like at lunch. But at least they had several veg options. Room is small-ish but awesome view (albeit a bit scary if you don't love heights). But bed seems comfy.
- The RenCen, built in the mid 1970s, is home to General Motors, Deloitte and Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Michigan. Also has a shopping area and food court.
Miranda Saucedo8월 23, 2012Be sure to take the tour. Sign up is on the first floor and the times are 12pm and 2pm. It's a little boring but they take you to the top of the building!
If you live downtown this can be a great place to run errands. Post office, tailor, shoe repair, CVS, Pure Detroit, Starbucks and more.
If you're looking for bathrooms, go to the lower level foodcourt - it's sort of winding around the corner if you go right from the escalators.

- Coffee beanery, pure detroit and starbucks.. Calumet is great for midday snacks, but cvs is cheaper and takes credit cards 4 all purchases
David Hill6월 16, 2010Whoever designed this place is retarded. there are too many different elevators in too many different parts of the building. I took 3 different elevators to get to my hotel room.
