The original structure was built by Warren and Wetmore, architects of Grand Central Station, and contains a pedestrian overpass completed in 1911.
Constructed in 1883, originally commissioned as a private burial chapel for Henry Rossiter Worthington by his wife. The building, by architect Richard M. Upjohn, is a Victorian Gothic Revival style.
