Gabriel Seah: This place does Mala Xiangguo (Mala/Numbing Spicy Fragrant Pot) - a dry adaptation of Mala Hotpot. There aren't that many places doing this dish. This place is quite small, with few seats.
Gabriel Seah: This place does Mala Xiang Guo (MLXG; Sichuan-style numbing & spicy stir fry). You choose what you want to go into the pot and the chef fries everything up on the spot in a flavourful sauce.
Gabriel Seah: Mala fragrant pot: good. Quite spicy, but we didn't ask for it to be less spicy. Unfortunately you can't choose what goes into it & it was mostly cheap stuff like lotus root & little meat.
