Amazing gumbo, possibly the best I have ever had! Their homemade blue cheese dressing is great and the stuffed snapper is heavenly! Don' forget the bread pudding, it is wonderful. Amazing restaurant!
Designed by the legendary architect Frank Gehry, the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum houses a permanent collection of Ohr pottery. The site was severely damaged when the Grand Casino washed ashore during Katrina.

Established in 1934, this 54 acre cemetery is filled with beautiful oaks. 15,000 veterans are laid to rest here including Ira Welborn, a Medal of Honor recipient from the Spanish-American War.
Located on the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer's grounds. Hurricane Katrina destroyed the church and damaged the memorial, but it has since been repaired.
Fort Massachusetts is on West Ship Island. It was built following the War of 1812 and remained in use until 1903. In 1861 Mississippi seceded, and an armed militia took possession of the island fort.
The home of Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederacy. Davis retired here in the 1870s. The house was severely damaged during Hurricane Katrina. Open 9am - 4pm daily.

Hosts of the annual antique wooden boat show Sea & Sail Adventure Camp during the summer months. The museum features extensive model ships and vintage photographs dealing with Hurricane Camille.
Named for one of Gulfport's former mayors, the pier was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and rebuilt in 2008. There is a boat launch here as well, so take a spin around the Gulf of Mexico.

They have the best Chile Relleno I have ever had. Regardless of what you order the portions are very large plus you get free chips and salsa.
There's a great buffet here - if you just ask for the buffet, it's very pricey ($20+). But if you tell them which buffet you're sticking with (I chose Asian), the price drops to $10! ($7 for lunch)
