Opened in 1886, it houses administrative offices, mail room, Rickly Chapel, four fraternity halls and classrooms. Affectionately called the "U-Building" or "U-Hall" by many generations of HU students.
Home to Student Affairs, the health center, campus security, the bookstore, student mailboxes & Great Hall. In Great Hall hangs the class banners of the oldest living alumni of Heidelberg University.
Gillmor Hall’s third floor is occupied by Heidelberg’s renowned National Center for Water Quality Research, while the second floor houses the Center for Historic and Military Archaeology
Bareis Hall, along with Gillmor, is home to Heidelberg’s science departments. Our computer science labs are situated on the top floor of Bareis Hall, while on the second floor is Frost Lecture Hall
All indoor varsity sports and various intramural teams call Seiberling home. The facility also houses the athletic administration offices, a weight room and a sports medicine facility.
Located in the center of Heidelberg’s residence halls, Hoernemann Refectory is the primary dining hall for students. Open from 7am-7pm, it offers a hot food line, salad bar, deli bar & so much more.
First year students have four different options for housing, including Brown Hall, King Hall, female-only France Hall and Krieg Hall, which is a coed residence hall for freshmen.
The School of Education at Heidelberg is intended to prepare future teachers for the classroom right away. The Education Center was designed to look and feel like a real school.
Built in 2011, The University Commons features a great room, study spaces, meeting & conference rooms, patio, & the Fireside Café Pub (Hours: 7am-12am M-R, 7am-1am F, 11am-1am Sa., & 4pm-12am Su)
The sophomore-only Residence Life & Learning Hall is the newest living option on campus and features pod-style living.
Built in 1913, Adams Hall was renovated in 2010 & is now a state-of-the-art business education facility. Features: video conferencing center, 6 multi-media classrooms & a networked-computer classroom.
The intellectual heart of Heidelberg University lies in Beeghly Library. The distinctively round building offers wireless internet, along with over 200,000 volumes of research materials on hand.
Aigler Alumni Building is home to Heidelberg’s social sciences, including the psychology, political science, criminal justice and international studies, along with the Office of Graduate Admission.
Heidelberg's School of Music dates back to 1885. The building contains the 375-seat Ohl Concert Hall, a recital hall, classrooms, over 20 practice studios, offices, music library & recording studio.
