Christina R11월 16, 2012Front desk staff was very friendly and the Bellman is seriously the nicest Bellman I've ever encountered in all of my travels. Great area and super soft sheets. We will definitively be back!

Needha Boutte-Queen2월 22, 2012Awesome HISTORIC hotel. Staff VERY friendly. Asian/Thai restaurant a block away - serves great food at an even better price! For a road worn traveler, this is a total Package deal!!
Ask for a quiet room and eat your breakfast at Starbucks. Breakfast of the hotel is really cheap (only coffee, fruits and muffins).
Nice rooms, good prices. Location awesome, near The Loop. Complimentary breakfast discontinued though.

Claire Calaway9월 3, 2016Rooms nice,we got stuck in the elevator for 30 min. I know this happens but what made it horrible was the bellhop kept adding people(13)we could barely move then we got stuck! Staff handled it poorly
Don't pay the extra for a King Suite, Big sitting room but smaller bedroom. King room has no fridge, that's an extra $25 per night!
Other guests feel that they are owed something more than others. These are the people who paid more than they can afford to stay in a 'classy' hotel in the inner loop. Ugh.

Visit J-Foxx (Jaime) and Showtime (Greg) downstairs at Bar Blake for a great laugh, fun conversation and a tasty beverage.

If you arrive early you can pay $50 and check in sooner or check your bags until 3pm
