José Rodríguez: The flavors here are always so astounding: fresh, bread!, many influences, and leaving you with the feeling of being happy to be alive. Easily one of my top three places to eat in the SF Bay Area.
José Rodríguez: A rewarding view of the SF Bay to the west, Mount Diablo to the east, and a great hike in Tilden Park. Best late in the day or early morning.
José Rodríguez: The food was good, but please note that they are NOT offering the foursquare free dessert special, despite it being listed and offered. Unfortunate practice on the restaurant's part.
José Rodríguez: General Vallejo and his family are buried here. Climb up the winding paths and see a bit of Sonoma and California history. Many graves in decayed state, fascinating.
José Rodríguez: Ippuku is amazing. Takes me back to a robot grill I enjoyed in Osaka... Corn, bluelake beans, grilled mochi in nori, bacon-wrapped tomatoes, and hard-to-find beers from Japan... Love the cedar!
José Rodríguez: Love the birthplace of Peet's coffee. Been coming here since the 1980s! There is a room in back now with the history of this great coffee roaster, including price lists from the '70s. Check it out!
