Cheen The Curious: I love my Hokkien mee wet. And this stall serves them slurpy wet! Lots of flavours, generous ingredients. Love the egg fried into the noodles!
Sen Chew Lua: Crispy on the outside and moist and tasty on the inside with a decent amount of minced meat, prawns and oysters. Great on its own and even better with the chilli.
Travel Channel: This eatery, established in 1953 is home to famous chicken rice. Most people still speak the traditional dialect of Hainanese here. As seen on Travel Channel’s The Layover with Anthony Bourdain.
Dinastik K.: They sells four kinds of fried rice — Egg, Mala, Tom Yum and X.O Fried Rice. Remember to grab their chilli oil from the table. Add on items available.

Cheen The Curious: Honest local dessert here. The gula Melaka is fragrant. Stallholder usually asks if you want your dessert sweet. I said "sweeter", and she drizzled a second round of syrup👍🏻
