Plan ahead. Great spot for picnics, playground and a path for walking or bike riding. Great benches w/ river view. Lawns for playing. You can walk down to river's edge. But be VERY careful if you do.
Laying out on the pedal boats in a lot of fun and walking or rollerskating on the trails is a blast.
There is one random bench near the treeline by Mirror Lake..perfect spot for people watching in the afternoon shade.
