I usually like the more old-fashioned cocktail bars, but I have to admit that this place is really good. All their drinks are not just show off creations but create a new and unique taste sensation.
Their egg tarts are known to be one of the best in HK. Besides the creamy and velvety smooth custard, what truly make Tai Cheongโs egg tart special and different from others is the cookie-crust base. ์์ธํ ๋ณด๊ธฐ
Came here for the eggettes but quickly realized the real specialty was the ice cream. Burnt Fingers flavor was probably in the top 3 best flavors I have ever had.

Steamed milk dessert is what people flock to this small cafe for. Also good are the silky tofu desserts and the papaya milk. You can also have noodles / pork chop and other HK cafe style dishes here.
I highly recommend this place if you want authentic classic Hong Kong breakfast. Wait.. better if you have a local friend with you. Or, don't be shy to ask for english-speaking waiter. Enjoy!

Things really take time as all dishes are carefully prepared by the chefs. It's best for a conversational/slow/wine (beer sake) sipping kind of experience. Therefore go with someone you can stand. :]
If you are in causeway at 3am, it is almost the only authentic japanese supper you can get. Koji-san is specialist in okonomiyaki, make sure you book the counter and enjoy his skill.

This is by far the best Chinese food (Sichuan, in particular) I've ever had in my life. The fried soft shell crab with peppers come enough to feed 6 people. Required eating.

One of the better Chinese food out there. They have some really authentic tasty dishes. Definitely try their salt baked chicken, salt fried squid, soup and vege/pork wrap.
Love the soup wanton noodle (better than dry one). Whole prawn wanton, coz I don't eat pork! Portion is small, good for in between meals or supper.

A popular HK tourist attraction, Tian Tan Buddha is a large bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. There's a short climb up, should be ok for most - my 3yo managed fine ;) The scenic views are worth it!
There will be many lines but worth it for the tram and views. Meal ticket gets you inside the Buddha and a vegetarian lunch

MK is a unique place.It's one of the most densely populated regions on the planet. The crowds are immense at some times. But that's a reason to visit. You really should see what this place is like.

There are several things to see here. #1 the Market! #2 the pier the original pier that the royal family would use when they visited HK but was moved here to preserve #3 temple
My favorite park in HK, for its incredible views of Hong Kong Island and ease of access from the Kowloon MTR stop/W Hotel/Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Lots of grass, boardwalk, and open air.
A touristy temple but super crowded with locals as well. Known for making wishes come true. Need to buy joss sticks or mini windmill (that is thought to bring luck) before entering the temple.
Get a seat inside, order as quick as possible and try to ignore the bad service as they are super busy. But once you have a taste of the cheong fun you are in heaven, super delicious!

This newly opened, pet-friendly promenade gives you endless fresh sea breeze and excellent East Kowloon scenery along the sea. A good running route connecting to Quarry Bay and SOHO East as well .

One of the best museums in HK! Apparently, free admissions during Wednesdays! Otherwise, the ticket price is a very affordable 10 HKD. Either way (whether you pay or not), the experience is worth it!
Once the site of a military fort, and then later the infamous Kowloon Wall City, and finally torn down before the British handover. This park is steeped with history.
Sensitively restored as a creative hub for local designers. Worth a visit to the underground area and exhibition area on 5F for some interesting history.

Most important TIP ever!!! When lining up for the train there are over head lights.... Go to the 8th ! Light and STOP. This is where the back most door opens . TheBest seat is back row right!!!
It has beautiful views of the City. We took a regular bus to the top which was much cheaper than the tram & walked the scenic mountain path instead of the Terrace. Whole trip cost $22 :)

Built in 1848 during the British rule, this temple in Hollywood Road is one of the oldest ones in the territory. Dedicated to the Man Cheong, God of Literature; and Kwan Yu, god of martial valor.
Nice big cafe and bar with live music some nights. Very relaxed and industrial feel. The menu is quite eclectic. We only had a few snacks but they were ok.
Prob one of the best cocktail bars in Hk. Not cheap but def worth the try. Come here on Tuesday for the hot cocktail menu. Really good.

A very local spot. Try to bring someone who can speak Cantonese. The claypot rice is a must. Consider adding the fermented sausage and a vegetable dish.

Lots of tea to choose from, has chocolate tea which I love. Banana split tea is interesting, tastes like chocolate with hint of banana. Earl grey scones served with icecream, interesting take.
Line up early to avoid the wait. Easily the cheapest Michelin starred restaurant you can eat at. The xiao long bao is not to be missed.
Michelin starred for it's Xiaolongbao, but it's casual rather than upmarket. Lunch for two for ~300 HKD. Vegetarian items are clearly marked as well of type of meat (chicken, pork,etc) in each item.
Decent selection of food to choose from as well as the famed dumplings (xiao long bao) - traditional being the best. Even better if the air con wasn't blasting cold to rush diners out.

Grannies and grandpas come here to swim in the morning. The stairway to this shed is secluded, but the view is worth it.

Originally built in the early 1900s for the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, and converted to a community art space in 2013! Great place to see some art and have a quiet walk for FREE!

Bring gallons and gallons of water unless you want to drink the untreated water (it's unlimited though). Me and my companion tried it because we have no choice, but thanks God nothing bad happened.

Half and half neighbourhood bar and rock โnโ roll joint, the Pontiac is one of Hong Kongโs liveliest โ and stays that way until the early hours.
Volume is cranked up to 11 at this rock dive bar. Try Hobnail (scotch, ginger, Averna, orange oil) or meth blue gin-based Heisenberg. If that doesn't get you in the party mood the jello shots will.

This hidden bar is at the top of a dark staircase, tucked inside a narrow alley off Wyndham. Like the Tardis, itโs surprisingly large inside for such a modest and hard to find entrance.
Caribbean food, nice rum selection, and freq. events like live music, pub trivia, and bingo. My only qualm? The prices are outrageous. Expect to pay $80 for a beer and upwards of $110 for cocktails.
A really good place to eat a great Sushi. The have a really good house music by a live Dj in the upstairs where the have a Cocktails Bar. Vibrant, fancy and the have a terrace (if you are lucky ;)
Note that there are two floors to this restaurant, if downstairs is full, there is a staircase to the left of the door. Follow it upstairs and go through the first door on the right.
There's a lot of good food here but the real star is the fried rice. Simple ingredients, perfectly executed. It's the tell in a Chinese restaurant, like onion soup in a French restaurant. Get it.
