La Mexicana

I had Birria Platter. My daughter had Taquitos Dorados. Both quite good. Dessert was cute.

As a native Texan it has been hard to find some authentic Mexican food in DC/VA. But when I found this hidden jewel with its Delicious food it is now my go to place when I'm craving yummy Mexicana.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they have the best Mexican food around. Think SoCal Mexican, not TexMex. Try their carne asada tacos to start

You can't go wrong with anything here. Tacos, flautas, Carne Asada and tres leches are all amazing!

Absolute nightmare! El Salvadorian food is not MEXICAN food. Everything was greasy and had no flavor. Left feeling sick.
