Let's call it a lively, touristy place. Expect waiting times during dinner hours, shared tables and efficient service. Shots are not free, even though it's sometimes made to look like that. Good food.
These romantic photos with snow or sunset? - Forget about it. The bridge is jam packed with tourists & eagerly selling artists at all times. Climb the tower at the end (100CZK) and take a picture.
Older than it looks on the booking engines. Rooms could use a makeover. Great breakfast, crappy TV + Wifi. Conveniently located next to a tram stop.
Best view over Prague. 150CZK for a climb up the stairs, 60CZK extra for an elevator ride. Well worth the price for a great view on the river and old town. Very crowdy at times.
Have a look, and take your time. The moving head is interesting to see - great for time lapse videos as well.
Another piece of art easy to miss. Apparently looks creepier at night, when lighted from within.
On sunny days, walk down to the river and have a cold one. Good for a beer, ok for food. Only place in Prague where waiters added tipping suggestions.
Food was pretty ok, except for the mixed vegetables fresh from freezer hell. Beer is great as anywhere in the town.
Funny "have to see" passage way. Great for 5mins, or more if one of your group won't fit. Don't forget to wait for the signal to change.
Beer garden on a ponton. Loud music, grilled food, cold beer & cocktails. Appeals to a younger crowd. Fun place.
Nice hotel in the new town, located between the river and the sights liek the Dancing House and the Wenceslas Square.
